debate on Australian Parliament

Should question time be reformed?

watching debate in Australian parliament.. seems like the level of the debate is of 12 yrs old.. like thou who shoutest the loudest is the rightest...

wilson tuckey, the old Uncle was at it again. Calling the potential boat people as "terrorists"..This gave a opening to the government. Ruddbott was pontificating about the moral decreptitude of Turnball and so on it went.. The biggest problem is there i no time limit on Answers form the governmnet. Time limits, strict regulations around relevance of answers to question need to be introduced. Plus, importantly since Quetion Time is the only time it goes live on TV the childlike finger wringing, sarcastic commentary on the other side opposition rather than anwering the question.therefore, strong need to change the focus of the Question Time.
politicians will complain 99 percent of the time we do good work but question time is about theatrics and is more sound and fry rather than substance.

Just remind ourselves politicians : if perception is everthing in politics watching Question Time and the snippets on nightly news channels is doing your reputations no good.. So follow your own advise and reform Question Time!

Well God save u from other Parliaments like India were interupption is mandatory!! May be the Australian Houses of Repreentatives could lead the way..
